Born and raised in the beautiful hills of eastern Kentucky, Dr. C. Madison Tackett has always felt a strong connection to her roots and a desire to give back to the community that shaped her.
Dr. Tackett graduated with a degree in Biology and Biblical Studies from Kentucky Christian University in 2016, where she not only focused on her studies but also played soccer throughout her undergraduate years. Her passion for helping others led her to pursue a Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Pikeville-KYCO, where she proudly graduated as part of the inaugural class in 2020.
During Dr. Tackett’s time in optometry school, she had the privilege of serving as the founding vice president for SVOSH (Student Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity), a student organization dedicated to providing essential optometric services to underserved populations. Her experience solidified her commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of those in need.
When Dr. Tackett is not at the office, she cherishes spending time with family, especially her wonderful son, Greyson. She is also an avid sports fan, with a particular love for watching Kentucky basketball. Additionally, she enjoys traveling and exploring the great outdoors, which fuels her passion for adventure and discovery.
